It was signed last April 14 in the Prefecture, in the presence of all the competent authorities the memorandum of understanding that allows to the airport managing body to control and manage, through their staff trained by the local police, all the traffic outside the airport. The agreement represents a major innovation for the management and the implementation of viability in all areas of the airport, as it develops an integrated model of competence between the airport operator and the municipal police, considering these activities closely related to operativeness and efficiency of airport services. It will be allowed in front of the terminal, to all those which accompany passengers and airport users, the fast drop-off (loading and unloading) of passenger and baggage. Thanks to the protocol, is given a definitive solution to the problem of the "Viability" outside the airport, passing the critical points determined by the uncontrolled car stops in areas open to the public through an efficient and effective control and garrison of the airport ordinary traffic, resolving once and for all also operational and safety issues arising from the congestion of the viability access to and from the airport. Information sheet on the operating methods of the viability service in the airport: The service will be guaranteed by personnel of Gesac, trained through a training course organized by the municipal police. The number of resources suitable and trained (specially trained through a training course organized by the municipal police) for the completion of this activity will be of about 24 people, planned on shifts (average: N° 3 unit on the morning and afternoon shifts, N° 2 unit in the middle turn).
