The historical uniforms parade of Alitalia flight attendant since 1950

Rome, Italy - In collaboration with Archivio Fotografico Alitalia Forever

hostess_alitalia.jpg(WAPA) - Next 1st September at Ostia (Rome) at 07:00 pm will take place celebrations for the anniversary of Fiumicino Airport inauguration that led to the rise of economic activity and employment in Ostia.

Currently the airport area situated on the Roman coast, represents the the largest source of employment and main stream of tourism in the Lazio Region. This Italian miracle role has been played by Alitalia since the '60s.

For many years Alitalia has been the italian brand internationally recognised - the largest Made in Italy showcase reflected in the hostesses' exquisite image and style. A parade with all their original uniforms will revive our memories and let us experience the magical past moments flowing on the wings of Italian designer elegance and haute couture starting from the '50s until today: Sorelle Fontana, Delia Biagiotti, Tita Rossi, Mila Schon, Fabiani, Marzotto, Lebole, Renato Balestra, Giorgio Armani, Mondrian.

The onlus association CAPI in cooperation with "Archivio Fotografico Alitalia Forever" will participate to the celebrations for the 150 years of Unity of Italy as the story of a national airline like Alitalia is more than the simple history of a company but a valid contribution to the culture, tourism, technology and economics of our country's era.
